St Paul's McKinnon are committed to developing talent and ensuring that our young players can progress to play at the highest possible level.
With two Divisions proposed for 2024 within the SFNL we expect to be able to foster both talent development for players that wish to progress through to our senior team while still providing participation opportunities for guys that want to continue to play local footy with their mates and stay fit.
For those players interested in development pathways, we encourage and facilitate engagement with Vic Metro, we support players participation in VFL team opportunities and we put forward our young players for all of the onfield and off-field development opportunities we can identify. This includes the SFNL and St Kilda Development Academy.
We also currently have two Victorian team AFL recruitment and talent identification people engaged in our club.
Why?
We know that this investment in a young person's playing career will be rewarded with long term loyalty.
